More about Swynnerton Camp and Training
Area..
|
Be The
Best...
A highly active military training area which
offers over 2 million square metres (700+ acres) of varied
terrain, buildings, installations, and customised training
areas.
It is in virtually constant use by Army and
Security Forces for training and live firing exercises.
|
|
|
|
|
For the first time North V South will be played on all of
this incredible area.
You will be able to enter and play,
through 4 game zones, returning 360 degrees to your start point -
with NO back tracking required.
|
|
Too much WALKING???
The revised game area for North V
South CHECKPOINT allows fast access to the game area.
There are entry points immediately adjacent to the camping area which give instant game access, or you may
utilise our indoor staging area and take a longer route entering at the
opposite side of the game. You may also use
troop transports which will drop you (and collect you!) at any of the 4 zones
which make up the game.

Underground Bunkers
|
The underground bunker system is home to
our Festival/Game Control office, security, first aid, Indoor Stage and Indoor
Player Staging Area.
These ex WWII underground magazines
have been preserved and renovated for use by military units whilst using the
Swynnerton Training Area.

|
|
Bunker
6 is the centre
of the festival operations.
It also has a few creature comforts
for those not wishing to use the campsite.
Check out the
CAMPING / ACCOMMODATION page for more info

Bunker
7 is a cavernous
self contained underground concrete space which makes a
superb party venue on saturday and warm dry staging space
for big game day.
